The Global Mental Health Action Network is a global joint advocacy, communications and learning coalition comprising of representatives of governments, international organisations, NGOs, academia and the private sector.

The group was formed to encourage greater global collaboration on mental health advocacy, communications and learning, and to enable anyone with a professional interest in mental health and/or health policy to connect with others who share this interest.

The group has developed a set of joint goals and targets to guide its work based on globally agreed frameworks, such as the WHO’s Comprehensive Mental Health Action Plan and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
